The hydro firm pooled hundreds of locals for the development of the 68.8-MW Manolo Fortich Hydropower Project in the Province of Bukidnon. Hedcor, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AboitizPower, allocated P12.5 billion to complete the construction within a span of 18 months. Hedcor vice president Boy Jabonillo said, “During the peak of the construction, 500 locals will help ensure the on-track completion of the power plant.” Meanwhile, Hedcor is on schedule with its construction activities. The opening of 30 kms of access roads are about to be completed while excavation and clearing works are on-going.
