About Us

We are Hedcor, Inc., the largest developer of run-of-river plants in the Philippines.  Having eighteen hydropower facilities in the provinces of Benguet, Davao and Ilocos Sur with a total capacity of 150 megawatts, we are known for three things: Being the country’s leading run-of-river hydropower developer; being environment friendly for producing only clean and renewable energy; and being the community’s partner of choice.

We started in 1972 as a team contracted to operate and maintain the NPC Talomo plants in Talomo, Davao.  Our mission is that We develop and operate efficient hydropower systems, and our vision is Two billion kWh of Cleanergy by 2020. Hedcor is expanding by building new hydroelectric power plants around the country. Our on-going project being carried out is the 3.8MW Irisan 1 Hydropower Project. which will fully be commissioned in 2012. Hedcor’s expansion also aims to help the Philippines achieve energy self sufficiency by reducing dependence on fossil fuels and move the country into a low carbon emissions economy which is a key solution to the problem of climate change.

We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of AboitizPower Corporation, the publicly listed holding company of all Aboitiz assets and interests in the power generation, power distribution, and energy solutions industries.
