Our Energy: Cleanergy

Human lives depend on energy today more than ever. Just about every human activity requires energy. From the simple switching of a light bulb to producing complex microchips for our computers, energy is necessary to fill the requirements of a fast-paced age.

However, our activities have created a negative impact on our planet because most of the energy we use today is sourced from coal, diesel, gas, and oil fired power plants. The burning of these conventional sources of energy emits tons of Nitrogen dioxide, Sulfur dioxide, and Carbon dioxide into our atmosphere, and cause an accelerated pace in global warming.

The effects of global warming are costly to the future of life on Earth. With this in mind, we are certainly more convinced that clean and renewable energy, the kind of energy that our run-of-river mini hydro systems provide, has an increasingly important role to play in the world. 

That is why we have joined the worldwide campaign to help save the planet. In a bid to change the way electricity is sourced, we have developed Cleanergy. 

Cleanergy is an environment-friendly and socially responsible brand of energy from Hedcor. It is our response to the need to develop energy technologies that have little or no adverse effects on the environment, and use sources that are locally available and are constantly replenished – like water. 

We will make Cleanergy available to every Filipino. By offering Cleanergy, we give socially and environment-conscious consumers the opportunity to make a positive difference in the global effort to save the environment.
