SUPPORT FOR EDUCATION. HEDCOR, Inc. and the Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. turned over yesterday a check of P25, 000 as a partial payment for the honorarium of computer teachers (top photo). Bakun National High School, through principal Berto Balisto, receive the financial assistance summing up to P50,000 every year. HEDCOR also donated computers to both institutions in the previous year, which the school is using in their classes. High school students of different levels from the Sablan and Benguet National High Schools were also given stipends. Students were selected based on academic performance. Handing the recipients were Hedcor Senior Vice President Chris Faelnar and Community Relations Officer Romy Catingub. DepEd Superintendent Mary Namuhe was also present to witness the event.
