Hedcor generates clean and renewable energy from indigenous water resources which are naturally replenished. Renewable energy in total represents 6% of the world energy mix and 0.16% in the Philippines.

Clean and renewable energy helps mitigate the effects of global warming, since its utilization does not entail the emission of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. Furthermore, it does not adversely affect the environment, so much more that the ecosystem surrounding its use remains undisturbed.

As a clean and renewable energy developer, Hedcor contributes significantly to the social and economic sustainability of the local community through improved access to local resources, education, livelihood, employment, and other economic opportunities.
