The La Trinidad Hydro is located within three barangays: Alapang, Alno, and Bineng in the Municipality of La trinidad, Benguet. It harnesses the Balili River and through it, the facility is able to generate 20.4 MW of clean and renewable energy.
To give way to the 19MW LTH, Bineng Hydros 1, 2a and 2b were decommissioned and became Bineng Combination Hydro. The hydropower facility was formally renamed to La Trinidad Hydro on January 22, 2018 by the Department of Energy. It symbolizes the partnership and identity established by Hedcor and La Trinidad since 1991.
Hedcor’s partnership with the community of La Trinidad gave way to education and healthcare projects, infrustrcture advancements, and increased employment among locals.

Located in Brgy. Sinakbat, Bakun, Benguet is the Ferdinand L. Singit (FLS )Hydro. Built in 1991, it formerly was called Upper Takbo Hydro but was renamed Ferdinand L. Singit Hydro in 1996 in memory of its late plant engineer. The construction of the FLS Hydro was an engineering challenge since there were no roads anywhere near the plant.
Among Hedcor’s hydropower facilities, FLS Hydro has the longest conveyance line of about 3 kilometers. Initially, it had a capacity of 4 MW and was upgraded in 1993 to produce its current capacity of 6.15 MW. This translates to an annual generation of about 30 GWh.
Currently, FLS Hydro delivers clean and renewable energy to Advent Energy, Inc.

The Irisan 1 Hydro is located in Brgy. Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet and harnesses the power of the Elew River. Its use of the latest in hydropower technology such as fiber-optic communication set-up makes the remote operation of the entire system possible from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
The water running through the Irisan 1 powerhouse cascades into the Irisan 3 Hydro which is one of Hedcor’s oldest plants. Currently, it supplies the Advent Energy, Inc. and Advent Energy Solutions, Inc.
The design of the hydropower plant took into consideration the major source of livelihood of the indigenous land owners and farmers of barangay Tadiangan. Most of the pipes that bring water to the power house are buried so that land owner-farmers can continue planting crops to sell to the market. Moreover, the locals use the 567-meter access road to the plant as a farm-to-market road.

The Irisan 3 plant located in Brgy. Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet harnesses the Elew River. It is one of Hedcor’s first hydropower facilities in Benguet, having been commissioned in June 1992. About 20 years forward, the Irisan 1 Hydro was completed in November 2011 which is also located in the same barangay and harnesses the same river.
Irisan 3 Hydro has an installed capacity of 1.2 MW and currently delivers its generation to Advent Energy, Inc. When combined, Irisan 1 and 3 Hydros, and Sal-angan Hydro have an average annual generation of 22 GWh.

Lower Labay Hydro was the first plant to be built in the municipality of Bakun, Benguet followed shortly by Lon-oy Hydro. Lower Labay Hydro currently harnesses the power of Bakun River.
When it first operated, it had four generators with a capacity of 500 kW each. They were later expanded to handle a capacity of 600 kW each bringing the plants’ capacity to 2.4 MW, or roughly 13 GWh annually. The clean and renewable energy it generates is then delivered to Advent Energy, Inc.

The Sal-angan Hydro is one of the first plants built by Hedcor in 1990. It is located in Brgy. Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet and harnesses the power of the Sal-angan river.
Originally, called Omico, Sal-angan Hydro supplied energy to the Philex Mining Corporation. After the contract with Philex expired in 2002 the plant reverted to the name of the river it taps – the Sal-angan River.
Other than CSR projects and local taxes, the Sal-angan plant benefits the community with farm-to-market roads and reforestation efforts.
Sal-angan Hydro presently has an installed capacity of 2.4 MW and delivers the clean and renewable energy it generates to Advent Energy, Inc.

The Bakun AC Hydro has been producing 70 MW of clean and renewable energy for Northern Luzon since 2001. It taps the power of the Bakun and Kayapa river in Bakun, Benguet.
Developed under a build-operate-transfer scheme, the hydroelectric plant will be handed over to the National Power Corporation in working condition, free of charge after 25 years.
During the construction of the plant, about 16 kilometers of access roads were developed and are now used as farm-to-market roads. This includes the 292-meter “Friendship Bridge” allowing vehicular access into the municipality of Alilem.
Management of the Bakun AC plant includes the responsibility of maintaining the watershed to sustain the production of hydro energy. Under the watershed management program, we are committed to protect and maintain the forest cover and rehabilitate deforested areas of the watershed.

Hedcor pioneered the very first hydropower facility in Mountain Province—the 14-megawatt Sabangan Hydro. This facility is located in Brgy. Namatec, Sabangan and harnesses the power of the Chico river.
This relatively small run-of-river hydropower plant, proved that there is big power in small hydro.
Hedcor Sabangan started the construction of the hydropower plant in 2013 and was inaugurated in 2015. It became the communities’ pride for its human story and its successful operation.
Today, not only does the plant delivers about 49 GWh annually but it also offsets about 29,000 tons of carbon dioxide.
Since run-of-river hydropower plants are location specific, the rugged terrain of Mountain Province offers countless opportunities for hydropower development.
The intake weir where water is diverted to the powerhouse is located in Barangay Napua. A three kilometer tunnel then conveys the rushing waters to the powerhouse located in Barangay Namatec. The water turns the turbine in high speed creating mechanical energy, when harnessed this energy turns into electrical energy powering households and businesses.

The Talomo 1 Hydro is located in Barangay Malagos in Calinan district of Davao City and harnesses the power of the Talomo River. It was initially government-owned but was then acquired and commissioned as a Hedcor asset in 1992.
Unlike other hydropower facilities operated by Hedcor, Talomo 1 Hydro uses an open canal instead of conveyance pipes to divert water to its forebay.
Talomo 1 Hydro is capable of generating about 5.4 GWh annually and currently delivers its generated clean and renewable energy to Davao Light and Power Company.

The Tudaya 1 Hydro is located in Brgy. Sibulan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur and operates upstream of the Sibulan A Hydro. It harnesses the Baroring Creek which is part of the Sibulan River.
The commercial operation of the plants came in timely when the region is experiencing power supply shortage. It started delivering to Davao Light and Power Company through an Energy Regulatory Commission-approved Energy Supply Agreement.
The first of four cascading plants, Tudaya Hydro 1 produces 6.6 MW and the water it utilizes is re-used in the Sibulan A Hydro A to produce 16.5 MW.
Several Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs tailored to the needs of host communities were implemented during the construction of the plant. To uplift the host communities of the plants, CSR programs focus in education, livelihood, health and environment.
