Hedcor directs its third wave of aid to the front liners in various quarantine control points (QCP) in Mindanao.
“COVID-19 is a pressing matter we face in generations, and our frontliners come in ready to respond. They have a pivotal role in enforcing social regulations while ensuring public safety and security,” Andy Faelnar, AVP of Hedcor Group says.
Together with Aboitiz Foundation, Hedcor handed over thermal scanners, alcohol bottles and face masks for around 400 frontliners from 11 QCPs in Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, Davao City, and Davao del SurThis is to ensure that the organization help fortify the government’s efforts to flatten the curve.
Staff Sergeant Efren Paragoso from Task Force Davao who received the equipment on behalf of his team expressed his gratitude over the initiative. “These medical supplies are really of great help to us,” Paragoso shared. “This will definitely improve our screening process,” he added.
Previously, Hedcor handed over half a million worth of ready-to-eat food packs, sacks of rice, and medical supplies to its host communities in Davao City, Davao del Sur, and Bukidnon.
